National Centre of Robotics acquired high-end sensor HEX-70-CE-2000N from the company OptoForce. Sensor is able to measure forces, or torques, in 6 DOF. It is characterized by wide measuring range (up to 2000 N), small dimensions (70×20 mm) and weight (165 g), high sensitivity and reliability. Sensor will be used in research of force-torque control of robotic manipulators, haptic feedback in tele-operated control and in applications of automated assembly, which are part of the Industry 4.0 standard.
