We are looking for new reinforcements in AI and robotics

Our team is looking for new members. The offered position is for one year with the option of extension. We offer a €1,257 tariff salary, expected salary after training of €2,600. The final salary depends on the applicant’s experience and will be specified at the personal interview. We are looking for candidates with experience in research in one or more of the following areas – robotics, AI, mechatronics, etc.

The content of the work will be the creation of projects following the focus of the AIR (Artificial Intelligence in Robotics) project, as well as the writing of publications registered in the WoS or SCOPUS databases. The expected outputs are:

  • Submitted projects in national grant schemes VEGA, KEGA, and APVV focused on AIR.
  • Two publications at Q1 or Q2 level and one in WoS or SCOPUS.
  • Submitted Horizon Europe project with a focus on AIR. 

Those interested can work with the students during their final theses and team projects. We prefer an employee interested in a long-term cooperation.

Requirements for the applicant:

Education

PhD. degree in Robotics or a related field (Cybernetics, Artificial Intelligence, Mechatronics)

Language skills 

English language – scientific level

Number of years of experience 

Experience in research and research projects for at least one year 

Personal and skills 

  • Joy from work and discovering new things 
  • Practical experience with the preparation of scientific research projects 
  • Experience with the implementation of research projects (at least 3, of which at least one is European level) 
  • Articles in peer-reviewed journals of Q1 and Q2 level (min. 5) and proceedings of international conferences
  • Publication activity during the last five years should also be presented (since 2017)
