Robotics is no longer just about experts deploying robots in factories or hospitals. Today, robotics is widely accessible, with the democratization of robotics — making robotics available even to smaller companies and the general public — becoming a major topic. We are contributing to this effort by developing applications that can bring robotics closer to younger audiences. One such application is playing checkers with a robot. The entire implementation of the application was carried out by students of the Institute of Robotics and Cybernetics at FEI STU under the supervision of Ing. Michal Tölgyessy, PhD, a member of NCR. You can see for yourself in the video below whether they succeeded. If you like it, please give us a like on YouTube.
