One objective of National Centre of Robotics is to support edducational activities, which assist the students and professional community in developing their skills and knowledge in the field of robotics.Within this objective National Centre of Robotics had supported development and construction of module for iRobot Create, which is used in the exercise of subject Control of mobile robots in study program Robotics at FEI STU. Modul consists of construction with pin up ports, laser scanner RPLidar and control system Raspberry Pi. Enhancment of this modul by gyroscope is also planned. Students can now actively develop, implement and test the algorithms of navigation and localization of robots in indoor environment.
