The activities of the National Centre of Robotics in Europe are mainly focused on the DIH² and Better Factory projects.
DIH² is a network of 26 DIHs, with a target to reach over 170 DIHs. The network is led by Teknologian tutkimuskeskus VTT Oy and is in total composed of 37 European partners. DIH²’s ultimate goal is to establish a sustainable network of robotics DIHs, endowed with tools and procedures, to facilitate the commercialization and broad uptake of Agile Production by Manufacturing SMEs/Slightly Bigger Companies. Currently there is an open challenge for experts in legislative, ethical and cybersecurity issues. The call is open until 15. February . Better Factory a European Initiative that aims to transform and disrupt the European manufacturing landscape. We invite European Manufacturing SMEs, Artists, and Technology suppliers to engage in a set of one-year collaborative experiments to redesign manufacturers’ product portfolio. In the current call, it is possible to raise up to EUR 200,000 for joint projects. The call is open until 18. March .
